Help on attaching:

For books, attach the card on the back of the book with masking, scotch, or packing tape. Try not to cover pertinent information about the book. Blue painters' tape is excellent as it does not damage the book when pulled off.

For videos, attach the card on the back with masking, scotch, or packing tape. Try not to cover pertinent information about the video. Blue painters' tape is excellent as it does not tear when pulled off.

Games and puzzles - same as above, attach the card with masking, scotch or packing tape on upper left corner of the item. Do not secure games and puzzles shut because we will open and look inside during inspection. Blue painters' tape is excellent as it does not damage the box when pulled off.

On items packed in a bag, (especially linen and bedding) packing tape is fine, BUT we have to be able to inspect the enclosed items prior to the package being secured. In other words, if we can't get into the bag and look at everything, we will NOT accept the packages. We suggest you bring your packing material when you come to receiving. Then you may secure everything after we have looked it over.

On toys (primarily plastic) assemble as usual and attach the card with packing tape right on the toy. If there are loose items, make sure they are in a bag and attached to the toy, house, castle, whatever.

On baby equipment, make a hole with a hole puncher of some sort and attach the card with a string, rope, or yarn to a visible area (e.g., a stroller, to the handlebar). For items that have a tray or open seat (highchair, exersaucer, walker, swing, potty chair, step stool, etc.), please attach the card with packing tape on the tray, step, seat, etc. This will enable good visibility for the shoppers.

For car seats, we do not accept any older than five (5) years. The date will be on the car seat. Consignors should attach the card to the straps of the car seat with packing tape or a safety pin.

For grab bags, socks, underwear, safety items (anything in a bag), please prepare the card with a good description and enclose the card facing out in the bag. Just make sure we can get in the bag for inspection. So do not block the opening.

Shoes - identify your consignor code number by writing it in ink on the sole or heel of the shoe and attach the card with packing tape securely on the bottom sole or make a hole and thread it through a shoelace.

Clothing -- Please attach using one of two methods:

1. With a tagging gun and plastic attachment, gun ONLY the hem or seam of the garment at the inside waistline, inside sleeve seam or inside hem (bottom of the garment piece). If you do not have a tagging gun we will sell you one for $35. You may pick one up from us early in our receiving times and we will even show you how to use it. Or mail us a check for $35 made out to Dani's Duds, POB 710044, Oak Hill, VA 20171. We will mail you a tagging gun with 500 3" plastic attachments and directions on how to use the gun. Guns may also be purchased from office supply stores for from between $70 and $90.

2. If no gun is available, consignors may use the large or medium (2-inch or 1-1/2-inch) safety pins. Absolutely no gold safety pins will be accepted.

DO NOT USE STAPLES, PLEASE!!!
