Dani's Duds

Dani's Duds is Northern Virginia's oldest & largest children's toy and clothing recycling/consignment event. We are only open ONE WEEK every spring (in April/May), ONE WEEK every summer (in July), and ONE WEEK every fall (in September/October). If you need clothing, toys, games, puzzles, books, videos, CDs, DVDs, software, and electronics, we have it. We also have cribs and other newborn equipment, furniture, clothing of all kinds (including maternity and nursing wear) with children's sizes ranging from newborn to junior, outdoor play equipment (slides, playhouses, pools, climbing gyms, etc.) - anything and everything for your newborns, infants, toddlers, and school age children, up to their early teens. You could see as many as 150,000 items at each of our sales. In addition to children's stuff, we carry CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, and books for all ages. Parents need entertainment too, right? We mean, other than that which our kids provide us already... If you would like irregular and not very often reminders about our sales, please e-mail: Don @ DanisDuds.com with your first, middle initial, last names (middle initial truly needed, too, please). You will be issued a consignor number at that time. Overzealous spam filtration may prevent us from reaching you, so please give us two or even three different e-mail addresses if you have them. Our mailing list is well over 53,000.

We notify our customers of the sale locations and dates & times solely through our website and our very few e-mail reminders. We have been in business for 20 years. We have never allowed anyone to use our database, even though we have been offered substantial sums for a copy. At each sale, about 90% of the consignors have consigned with us before. We have regular consignors as far west as Texas, north as Connecticut, south as Florida, and east as the Atlantic Ocean. We believe all this speaks well of our business.

Dani's Duds was named after our daughter, Danielle. You'll see her at our sales. She's real serious most of the time, but get her to smile, she's so much prettier when she does. She's in college, now. Her birth spawned the idea for recycling: some of her duds (clothes) weren't even worn. We wanted other mothers to be able to recycle their barely or unused children's things. And like our own stuff, we wanted them to be first rate. All items brought in for consignment are inspected before being accepted, please allow extra time when you drop off your items. You'll see our son, Donnie, too. He started college this fall. This is indeed a family business. Quantities and items vary, as each sale is different; but we have much of what you need for your children. From the first sale of barely 1,500 items, our sales now offer up to 150,000 items. Bring your unneeded children's things and we will sell them; then you can buy the things you need. We take (16-item minimum — no maximum), for any season.
